Free Food Gardening Resource

The COVID-19 crisis has led to renewed interest in home food production. In an effort to bolster personal food security, many people are starting gardens. In response, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County has created a food gardening packet. Directed at new gardeners and specific to the North Country, the packet contains instructions on soil preparation, container gardens, vegetable crops, transplants, tomato gardening, backyard fruit, and maintenance.
