Game of Logging - Level 1

  • Wednesday, August 28, 2024, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Warren County will be hosting the Game of Logging Level 1 training course on Wednesday, August 28th and Storm Damage Response (level 3) training course on Thursday, August 29th  . Both workshops will start promptly at 8am and end around 5pm. Participants should plan to arrive around 7:30am to sign in. Please note that each level beyond level 1 requires the subsequent levels be taken first.

Please bring the following equipment: gas-powered saw (with fuel and oil), boots (preferably with a safety toe), helmet, eye and ear protection, and chaps. Please note that the instructor will not let people cut unless they are wearing chaps, helmet, and eye and ear protection. Lastly, you need to bring a lunch.
