Campfire Cones

For a twist on the traditional s'more recipe, these campfire cones are simple, easy to make, and very yummy! Make sure to use heat-proof mitts when handling the cones. They will be hot!

Ingredients

  • ice cream cone
  • mini marshmallows
  • chocolate chips (or any small chocolate candy)
  • Optional ingredients: fruit, nuts
  • Foil

Directions

1. Fill each ice cream cone with mini marshmallows and chocolate. You can also add other ingredients, such as fruit or nuts.

2. Wrap each cone in foil and place either directly in the campfire or on a grate over a campfire. If you aren’t camping, you can still make these on any grill (charcoal or gas). Keep a close eye on the cones when they are cooking so that they do not burn.

3. Unwrap and eat!
