Seeking Youth 12 + for 4-H Adirondack Guide Program

  • Thursday, January 28, 2021, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Camping, fire starting, map and compass skills, outdoor cooking, wildlife identification, hiking, and more! If you are a youth between the ages of 12->19 (as of January 1, 2021) and love the outdoors, then come and see what our 4-H Adirondack Guides program is all about.

Youth will have the opportunity to go on 2-3 camping trips (if allowed by COVID guidelines) per year and attend environmental education programs once a month between the months of April-October. Enrollment in Warren County 4-H is required and allows youth to participate in any age appropriate classes 4-H has to offer throughout the year. Enrollment for the year is $10 per youth, or $15-30 per family. Some events require a program fee to cover the cost of food, or canoe & campsite rentals.

A virtual new Guide orientation program will be held on the evening of Thursday, January 28th, from 6:30-7:30 PM. All prospective or interested youths and their families are welcome to attend. Pre-registration is required, and there is no cost for this event. Here is the registration link: https://cornell.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJ0sceCtrzsvGdFPUuK9zTHrLkvpT_0LHdct
