MB (Marybeth) holds undergraduate degrees in the biological and human development sciences, a MPH with a primary concentration in human nutrition, and a Ph.D in Curriculum and Instruction, with a dissertation research topic of interpreting the experiences of rural residents in public health education. She provides nutrition and healthy living evidence-based education to members of the Warren County community. Much of that work stems from efforts to promote kinesthetic learning opportunities to foster better understanding of healthy diets (especially plant-based diets!) and lifestyles. Among her efforts have been the establishment of interactive educational gardens, the writing of curricula, the promotion of field and farm to table, and the provision of interactive lessons to underserved diverse populations.
